New Lasers, Weapon Lights and Red Dot Sights from Kinetic Concealment
You make a good number of friends over the years in the gun industry. One of those friends, Josh Sykes, not only works in the marketing end of the industry but has a company of his own named Kinetic Concealment. Up until now Josh has been designing and making holsters but today he contacted me to let me know he is branching off to design and sell lasers for rail mounting as well as white light/green laser combos for pistols and finally a mini red dot sight for pistols.
ILEE At B&T Police & Military Day 2015
TFB friend Lionel attended the recent B&T Police & Military Day 2015 event, and covered some of the products exhibited there. German firm ILEE AG was there showing off their new target designator/illuminator device. Lionel writes:
New LaserMax Micro Upgrades
For 26 years LaserMax has been manufacturing lasers for the military, law enforcement, and the general public. They’re known for producing green lasers and were, in fact, the first company to sell a green laser commercially. One of their more popular models is the LaserMax Micro, which has been on the market since 2010. Now LaserMax is making their Micro even better by adding new features such as a Quick-Change Battery Hatch and several operating modes, and before long red and infrared models will also be made available. The updated model is called the Micro-2-G and is designed for subcompact handguns just as the original Micro laser was.

Civilian AN/PEQ-15 (ATPIAL-C) by TNVC & L-3 Coming Soon
Tactical Night Vision Company has announced the upcoming release of a civilian legal ATPIAL-C, known to the military community as the AN/PEQ-15. The new civilian legal version incorporates a Class 1 infrared laser pointed and class 3R laser illuminator instead of restricted components. The ATPIAL will still have the red visible laser pointer.
U.S. Marines Occular Interruption Contract
According to Soldier Systems Daily, the U.S. Marines awarded B.E. Meyers a $49 million dollar contract for laser dazzlers. It is a non-lethal green laser that dazzles the target so their ability to shoot or fight back is greatly reduced because they cannot look at the source of the light.
Laserlyte Laser for Hi-Point
Laserlyte has released a laser for Hi-Point pistols. The laser comes with two housings to fit two pistol sizes. One housing to fit .380 and 9mm, while the second housing is for .40 S&W and .45acp. Battery life is 5 hours constant on or 10 hours on pulse mode.
