Happy (almost) Halloween everybody! This week I’ve brought on some of the TFB crew to talk about some of their worst gun shop related horror stories. If you’ve ever been to an indoor range or spent any amount of time in a gun shop, you already know where this one is going. To get these stories to you I’ve brought on Mike R who has been a writer with TFB for years and is one of our veteran writers, Benjamin F who is most well known on the blog for his humorous gun-running article, our newest writer Lucas D, Adam Scepaniak who is the owner at the Guns and Gear Store in Minnesota, and finally, Daniel Y, owner and operator of the popular Instagram handle fromtheguncounter. I recently stopped in to check out Top Guns in Terre Haute, Indiana. Top Guns boasts the largest showroom and indoor shooting range in the Midwest. Steve Ellis, the owner of Top Guns, was kind enough to give us the full tour and show what all Top Guns had to offer.

Richard Wyatt, known for his role on the Discovery Channel program “American Guns”, has been formally convicted of 10 felony counts including conspiracy, fraud, and tax evasion. The jury was hung on three counts of illegally importing weapons.  The verdict is the result of years-long federal investigations into the Wyatt family and the Gunsmoke Guns gun shop.  According to the Denver Post, the various charges carry up to 15 years in federal prison. 

I have worked in the firearms industry for some time now.  I have also worked retail firearms, and have immediate family that still does.  I know that it seems to always escape people, but firearms are not toys and should be treated safely and with respect. But there are some people out there that don’t understand that concept.
