Lee Sporting has made their Sporting Trigger Group utilize an AR-15 FCG (Fire Control Group) which has secondary ergonomic benefits. So let’s take a closer look at this cool upgrade for you MP5 afficionados.

CMC triggers known for their excellent one-piece drop-in fire control groups, has released their new Goldfinger AR trigger, a single-stage drop-in unit with a 3.5lb trigger pull. The relatively light single-stage trigger should be a plus whether you’re competing in 3 gun, hunting, or mowing down Scaramunga’s henchmen in Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Fire Control Unit has announced that their X01 (Exo One) PDW Platform for SIG pistols is now available for purchase. The X01 is compatible with SIG Sauer P320 (full size, compact, carry, TACOPS, X-Carry or X-Five) and P250 pistols chambered in 9x19mm, .40 S&W or .357 SIG.

Innovation moves fast these days. As the popularity of Sig Sauer’s new P320 spikes on news of it being selected as the modular pistol contract winner for the U.S. Army (and most likely the other branches) spreads, civilian intrests have followed in sync. Of course, the primary feature of the the P320 is the fact that a small group of metal parts, the Fire Control Group (FCG) is the serialized firearm as opposed to the polymer frame like a Glock or S&W M&P. The benefit is that frames are interchangeable and not controlled by American gun regulations.
