Those of you in ban states can celebrate as there is a new concealed carry option now being made available to you that comes with its own blaster – the Jolster from Black Arch Holsters. The Jolster is an ambidextrous, Kydex open-ended holster that allows users to carry their jolt gun cocked with a round loaded in the muzzle. While I lament the need for various “featureless” weapon’s features to be featured, I am not immune to the need for featureless features to be featured. Simply put, due to various laws, the featureless features are indeed needed.

It is easy for those of us who live in states without “assault weapon” ban (or worse) restrictions to thumb our nose at shooters in California, New York and New Jersey. Some of the compliant builds I have seen would make any respectable shooter want to cry. But how does the saying go: “walk a mile in a man’s shoes”? Having lived in enemy territory for a decade, I can sympathize with our range-loving brothers and sisters being held captive by ridiculous regulations.
