There are some holsters that become part of your wardrobe. Put your leg through here, staple this to your leg, tie that to your belt. While more intricate holster designs can sometimes give you some advantages, who has the time? Sometimes you just need a simple and reliable holster that you can throw on quickly. In my quest for Hellcat Pro holsters, I’m trying out the Black Arch Holsters Rev-Con. 

If I’ve learned anything from my time as an armed citizen, it’s that a good holster makes every negative aspect of concealed carry easier to deal with. They reduce unwanted movement, aid in keeping the gun close to your body and make carrying for long periods of time infinitely more comfortable. I recently started carrying the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro and have been on the search for some good holsters. This time, I decided to try out the Black Arch Holsters Entrada.

Holsters can be one of the most hit-or-miss firearms accessories that one can encounter, and I’d be willing to bet that most longtime handgun owners have a collection of a least a dozen that didn’t work out at one point or another.  The holster world has come a long way from the “Milt Sparks” type holster being one of the only viable concealed carry designs, and it’s super interesting to see what new designs each year holds.  Some of the better new designs I’ve recently encountered are the new Protos-M and Entrada holsters from Black Arch Holsters.

Shootah (a portmanteau of “shoot” and “Utah”) is an annual range day featuring Utah-based gun businesses. Shootah 2021 was hosted at the Garth Killpack shooting range in Springville, Utah. The range sits at the mouth of Hobble Creek Canyon and has recently undergone an expansion.

Those of you in ban states can celebrate as there is a new concealed carry option now being made available to you that comes with its own blaster – the Jolster from Black Arch Holsters. The Jolster is an ambidextrous, Kydex open-ended holster that allows users to carry their jolt gun cocked with a round loaded in the muzzle.
