The Rimfire Report: RSM Firearms MINI-50 Ruger 10/22 Conversion Kit
Hello and welcome to another edition of The Rimfire Report! This ongoing series is all about the rimfire firearm world and its many guns, sports, ammunition, and trends. Last week, we talked about the new Fletcher Rifle Works Bandera OpenTop 11/22 pistol. Since that article was posted, I’ve had the opportunity to take it to the range a few more times and thus far it has held up quite well on the reliability side of things and the pistol really has been a joy to shoot – I will be sad to see it go when I send it back to Mr. Fletcher! In that same vein, part of why I like the 10/22 platform so much is due to the sheer amount of customization options you have on the market for it. I recently stumbled upon a new limited edition conversion kit for the Ruger 10/22 rifles designed by RSM Firearms. Dubbed the MINI-50, this conversion kit takes your standard 10/22 rifle and fits it into a nice new mini Barrett M82A1 skin suit.
POTD: Spanish Lepanto Battalion
POTD, short for Photo Of The Day, is TFB’s recurring articles where we go to great length trying to find the best pictures and stories out there. Today we have a mixed menu of Accuracy International, Heckler & Koch G36 and M107 / Barrett M82.
Garm: New Sniper Rifle/DMR Carrying System from Vorn Defence
It’s been a while since Vorn Defence got mentioned here at TFB. The Vorn Equipment Fast Access Rifle Backpack written by Nicholas C was the last time, and I really like their quick-release system. If you carry longer and larger rifles and firearms from time to time, or all of the time, you should continue reading. Their new system is called Garm, which in Norse mythology is a wolf associated with Ragnarök, and described as a blood-stained guardian of Hel’s gate.
US Army Orders More Barrett M107s
The US Army is set to receive a new batch of .50 calibre M107 long range sniper rifles with the Department of Defense announcing the contract award on the 28th November. The near $8 million dollar order will see Barrett Firearms provide between 700 and 800 rifles. These are likely destined for the Army and possibly for foreign military sale.

The US Army Contracting Command is in search of private sector contractors to repair its M107 Long Range Sniper Rifles. A revised sources sought notice was posted earlier this month.
