KelTec has released the KS7 GEN2, an updated version of the KS7 single tube magazine bullpup shotgun. The KS7 GEN2 incorporates modifications to enhance ergonomics, customization options, and functionality while retaining the original KS7's attributes, including a lightweight design, maneuverability in confined spaces, ambidextrous downward shell ejection, and compact size.

The P320-series of guns has been in the news lately, particularly those used by the US military. Investigations ensued after the death of an Airman involving one of the guns, which were immediately pulled from service. Well, the M18 is back in service and another Airman has been charged criminally in connection with the incident. We spoke to SIG Sauer to get their views on the situation.

Savage Arms has released the A22 and B Series Timber Tactical rimfire rifles, looking lovely in any of their combinations. Just a few days after the news of MK Machining’s New Integrated Anti-Reflection Device Scope Caps they’re announcing the launch of the Modular Scope Accessory Chassis (MSAC). With increasing difficulties in seeing where my riflescope’s turrets are set, I’ve had my eyes (pun intended) on its predecessor for a while. Officially unveiled earlier this week on August 27, 2025, by the Swedish red dot OGs at Aimpoint, the new Aimpoint Duty RDS MR brings new Multi-Reticle (MR) functionality to the compact red dot sight platform that is intended to be a slightly more budget-friendly yet feature-rich version of some of Aimpoint's other legendary red dot offerings. I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of the new sight just a day before launch day, and although my range time has been brief with the new sight. I figured it’d be a great idea to bring you guys a quick “first look” article to see what the new platform is offering vs the old, as well as what people can expect from one of Aimpoint's more affordable red dot options for rifles and shotguns.

Suppressors are certainly a hot topic right now, and given the recent news about the Big Beautiful Bill and its impact on suppressors and other NFA items, I thought it was great timing that we got to bring back  Mike Slack from Engaged Industries on the show. Let’s get real for a second ladies and gents... if you’ve spent more than one range session wiping sweat off your hands, digging your hands into gravel while working on shooting from prone, or trying to keep a solid grip while your palms feel like they’ve been dipped in canola oil, you’ve probably wondered if gloves are worth it. I sure did. And not just out of curiosity, I wanted to see if gloves could actually enhance my training, not just protect my hands. So I grabbed a pair of Viktos Operatus XP gloves, hit the range, and ran over 1,000 rounds through both pistol and rifle platforms to see how they held up. What I discovered might surprise you, especially if you're a woman looking for gear that actually fits and functions for smaller hands.

The PSC-12. JP Enterprises doesn't make this model any longer. It was a version of the (still existing) LRP-07, but with the addition of a side-charger. There may have been changes, but the combination of a side-charger - while still keeping the original charging handle in its original place - made me go for this model. The Magpul Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish was applied at the factory. I’ve made some modifications, like a Magpul K2+ grip in FDE and a Magpul ARCA rail, to enhance the performance for DMR shooting. I also added a Triggertech two-stage trigger, which works great unless you set the trigger pull below its tolerance.

Welcome back to another Wheelgun Wednesday. This week, I wanted to check out one of my favorite revolvers in my collection, the Smith & Wesson Model 19 Carry Comp. I’ve had this model for just over a year and over time, I have made a few small changes. Throughout my time with the Model 19, there have been some positive as well as a couple of negative aspects. Let's take a closer look at the S&W Model 19 Carry Comp.

Beretta USA has released the 92X Performance Defensive Classic pistol, a variant of the 92X Performance platform designed specifically for International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) competitions. This 9mm model incorporates modifications for compliance with the SSP (Stock Service Pistol), ESP (Enhanced Service Pistol), and CO (Carry Optics) divisions, focusing on accuracy, ergonomics, and optic compatibility while maintaining the core design of the 92X series.

Aimpoint, the company that developed the first red dot sight, has introduced the Duty RDS MR, its first optic with a selectable Multi-Reticle (MR) system. The sight provides three reticle options: a precision 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, or a combination of both, allowing users to adapt to different scenarios.

A new AI-powered shooting application called BALLISTiQ is now available for both Android and iOS. It is essentially a ballistic calculator with some advanced features such as voice control, Kestrel integration, real-time weather data updates and in-depth analysis. The app is advertised as a “precision ballistic calculator for professionals who demand accuracy and reliability” that will allow you to “achieve 99.9% accuracy and take your precision shooting to the next level”.

After the Assault Weapons Ban ended in 2004, I became familiar with Zastava rifles, particularly the M59/66 and the M70AB2. Before that, my gateway into the world of Kalashnikovs was the Romanian WASR-10, which initially sparked my interest in foreign firearms. I owned several Zastavas over the years. Aside from the somewhat flimsy underfolder stock, the M70AB2 was a rock-solid rifle built like a tank, which left a lasting impression.

It’s time for TFB’s Photo Of The Day, so let’s explain what we’re looking at. The rifle is a Daniel Defense from the DD4 family, which got itself a spray can job. The riflescope is the now-discontinued Zeiss V8 1.1-8x, with a 36mm tube. That’s a lot larger than most LPVOs, and it’s sad they don’t make it any longer, as it’s clearly one of the best LPVOs ever made. The secondary optic is a red dot from Shield Sights, all in a Spuhr Cantilever mount.
