POTD: New Range of Ohio State Highway Patrol

    Ohio State Highway Patrol

The definition of a photograph, photo, exposure or picture is a representation of a person or scene in the form of a print or transparent slide; recorded by a camera on a light-sensitive material. In TFB’s case, this usually means a soldier or a firearm of some sort. This Photo Of The Day goes in black & white and features an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer as he fires his rifle. You can see the ejected brass and smoke from the barrel, and I think the photo works perfectly in this setting.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol officer fires his rifle at a target during a shooting drill at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance firing range here, March 27, 2019. The OSHP used the range for three days of training, marking the first use of the new $8.5 million facility by a community partner of the 910th Airlift Wing. The firing range opened in August of 2018.

That sounds like a pretty nice training facility.
