One of the biggest pet peeves of mine when it comes to optics-equipped firearms is the sheer amount of different mounting footprint options on the market. Although it can be largely distilled down into maybe 4 or 5 different core patterns that all optics use, it’s still extremely frustrating to have to limit yourself artificially based on the type of pistol or optic you have. C&H Precision Weapons has just announced the introduction of a new full line of adaptor plates for select pistols, and pistol-mounted red dots.

New Line of Handgun Red Dot Sight Adaptor Plates from C&H Precision Weapons
Some of the more common mounting options are for MIL/LEO, Aftermarket RMR, and factory slide cuts. Plates allow for attachment of various Vortex, Aimpoint, Leupold, Trijicon, SIG, and Holosun optics to uncommon or non-standard slide cut designs a user’s preferred chosen optic.
These plates open the doors for users to continue to employ their pistol with an optic of choice. C&H Precision has allowed shooters to mount a broad range of red dots to a sole firearm. Additionally, many firearms can be adapted to different optics depending on the use without much modification. A simple red dot change is a quick removal and reinstallation of a new plate and optic. From plinking and competition to training novice shooters or duty setups, C&H Precision Weapons has an adaptor plate.
The new adaptor plates from C&H Precision Weapons start pricing right around $70 or even as low as $50 for select options. There are about 129 different configurations currently available on their site meaning if you’ve got an optics-cut slide and red dot combo you haven’t been able to get working, C&H Precision Weapons may just have what you’re looking for.
