Blaser’s R8 series of hunting rifles is one of the more premium options on the market. Additionally, with the lower priced ammunition for small calibers, cost savings when practicing extensively at the shooting range can be significant.

Each of the caliber conversions has a capacity of at least 5 rounds with the magazine conversion inserted into the rifle’s bottom metal. The 22LR (listed as .22 lfb), .17 HMR, and .22WMR conversion kits feature a standard capacity of 6 rounds. Both of the .17 caliber options feature a shorter barrel length of just 9 inches while the .22 caliber offerings all feature a barrel length of 16 inches.
