The receiver of the Sauer 505 rifle is made of steel and has a built-in saddle scope mount. The action is push feed. The bolt has two rows of three locking lugs and a spring-loaded plunger ejector. The rifle features a striker cocking/decocking mechanism at the rear of the bolt. The trigger mechanism allows selecting one of the following pre-set trigger pull weights: 0,77 lbs, 1.66 lbs, 2.2 lbs, 2.8 lbs. Depending on the caliber choice, the lengths of the cold hammer forged barrels can be from 16.5″ to 24″. The muzzles are threaded with M15x1 or M17x1 metric thread pitches. The barrels are user removable allowing easy caliber changes.

For example, a lightweight and easy to handle hunting rifle in combination with a carbon fibre stock or an allweather rifle with a polymer stock that can withstand any conditions. This configuration package is also captivating in combination with a beautiful wooden stock. Not least thanks to the elegantly knurled bolt knob.

    TOUGH: THE OUTBACK PACKAGE.
