Today Luke C (@BallisticAviation) is at the Fletcher Rifle Works booth in the Cesar’s Forum to talk with CEO Paul Fletcher about the latest developments for the OpenTop 11/22 series of receivers, rifles and pistols. The latest iteration to be released is the new Takedown model that features a very minimal amount of point of impact shift when removing and replacing the optic rail, or the barrel. With premium components from other well-known 10/22 aftermarket companies, the OpenTop 11/22 Takedown is the result of a lot of trial, error, and refinement by the Fletcher Rifle Works team.

Excellent, this is the receiver I was waiting on from them. Gonna have to start pricing out a takedown soon.

Edit: Or maybe not. The complete takedown already uses a lightweight barrel in a backpacker stock, guess I could just get one of their factory built models.

I've always wondered why it took this long to have a 10/22 that doesn't need a screwdriver to clean.

Hell, Ruger could've used a knurled thumbnut decades ago.
