[SHOT 2024] Beretta's First Frame Safety Double Action: The 92XI GTS "Twin Sear"

At Beretta Range Day at SHOT Show 2024, Hop checked out the new Beretta 92XI GTS “Twin Safety”, which adds double action capability back to the 92XI pistol. The frame-mounted safety lever previously limited the 92XI to single action only configuration, but Beretta’s new design splits the sear in two and allows the best of both worlds; the crisp single-action trigger of the 92XI, with a decocker to allow safe carry in double action mode.

First ever frame safety...except the original 92s and the plant they built to build frame mounted safety 92s and sold to Taurus/Brazilian government....

It's the Beretta 92 that I've always wanted....but I've learned that I never carry full size pistols. I might still get one.

@Drewogatory I'd probably just carry it DA, and leave the safety off...although I do already have a 92G Centurion that I never carry....
