TFB Behind the Gun #101: Well Rounded Training from Vortex Edge

Back in December of 2023, I was invited out to the Vortex Optics campus to get an early look at some of their products coming out for this year. While we were there, our group had the opportunity to get a look at the entire Vortex Optics operation including their customer service department, warehouse, manufacturing facility, and of course their very own training facility, Vortex Edge. Vortex Edge is open to the public and staffed by Vortex’s own team of dedicated instructors who have a wealth of experience in both law enforcement and military firearms training, as well as high-level competitive pistol and rifle shooting. No matter what level of shooting you’re at, or what your goals are, the Vortex Edge team can probably help you with your training, even if it includes using night vision. Today we’ve brought on Chris and Sawyer from Vortex to tell us all about the Vortex Edge facility and training offerings, as well as some of their company history and some hints at new products coming in 2024.

TFB Behind The Gun Podcast #101: Well-Rounded Training from Vortex Edge

In today’s episode of TFB’s Behind The Gun Podcast, Luke C speaks with Chris and Sawyer from Vortex Optics about some of their new products, their company’s history and focus, and all about their dedicated training facility, Vortex Edge. Vortex Edge sits as a standalone part of the Vortex Optics campus that serves the purpose of being one of the best ways that the Vortex Optics company can interact with their customers – firearms training. Whether it’s long-range precision shooting, basic carbine, high-level pistol shooting, or even night vision training, Vortex Edge’s team of talented and experienced instructors and staff can not only get you the training you need but also get you the equipment you need to do it. Today Chris and Sawyer will give us the rundown on what you can expect from a class at Vortex Edge, as well as some hints at some new products set for release throughout 2024. Please welcome Chris and Sawyer from Vortex Optics to the podcast!
