Around the world, at any given time there is probably at least one armed conflict going on. Right now we’re experiencing a handful of them and while there are plenty of politics to be talked about when it comes to those conflicts, today what Pete and Matt (Editor of Overt Defense) have to talk about specifically is the tools that are being used. The various conflicts around the globe currently going on have been quite interesting as it seems we’ve not only seen the first large-scale deployment of small drones for combat purposes, but also a return to trench warfare, and the appearance of firearms from virtually every corner of the globe winding up in every country but the one they were manufactured in. Pete and Matt will discuss all of that today in addition to some of their predictions in regards to how some of these situations might turn out.

TFB Behind The Gun Podcast #96: Conflicts Around the World with Matt Moss
In this episode of TFB’s Behind The Gun Podcast we’ve brought back in our Editor in Chief Pete, as well as long-time TFB Writer, Editor, and the editor of Overt Defense, Matthew Moss. Matt has been writing for TFB for quite a long time and in addition to covering historical firearms, he also has quite the passion for the minute details that can be found in the complex and vast world of military firearms, technology, and news. This has led Matt to become the editor of Overt Defense, a daily blog that specifically focuses on not just American military news and issues, but the militaries of all nations across the planet. Matt’s job, as well as his many other ventures within the historical firearms space, have given him a lot of insight into not just past conflicts, but current ones as well. Today Matt and Pete discuss the various conflicts going on around the world, the arms we’re seeing in these conflicts.
