Arken Optics is moving into the night vision space with the new Zulus 5-20x digital day/night scope. It features an integrated IR illuminator and 1920×1080 resolution. Let’s take a closer look at the rest of the features.

The Zulus scope comes equipped with a cantilever Picatinny mount for use with common firearms. Another Picatinny rail is set on the side of the scope for adding extra IR illumination, an additional battery pack, or an offset optic. Power is provided by an 18650 rechargeable battery, and can accept additional power from an integrated USB port.

Arken also includes a shot detection feature that records six seconds before the shot, and two seconds after. The Zulus is also wi-fi enabled and zeroing is performed with an app. The MSRP is $649.99, and it is available for order directly from Arken. As of writing, the Zulus is not in stock and is expected in six to eight weeks.
