Infamous Florida Man, aftermarket parts producer and firearms enthusiast Jason from Backup Tactical, has just given us a first look at his new Glock Perfect Fit PRO Comp. The new addition to the PROComp line follows the same design language as the previously released SIG 320 Perfect Fit PROComp – it’s meant to not just work as an effective compensator but also contour to and match the already existing lines on your handgun, making it look cool too.

Florida Man Comps a Glock – Backup Tactical Glock Perfect Fit PROComp

So far in 2023 Backup Tactical has already launched the Perfect Fit PROComp for the Sig P320 Compact and Full-Size models. They promised they would do the same for the Glock, and they have not disappointed! Introducing the Backup Tactical Perfect Fit PROComp for the Glock 19, 17, and related 9mm variants. The Glock PROComp will be available for Gen5 Glocks as pictured here, and Gen4 (and below) models as well.

According to Jason Bayne, owner of Backup Tactical, “We are expanding our offerings to include 3 new product lines in 2023. The first are Compensators for the Sig and Glock 9mm pistols. In about two weeks, RSR, our Distributor, will be shipping our new Glock Perfect Fit PROComps in 9mm. All our new compensators are CNC Machined Anodized Aluminum Alloy single port comps. A few days after we will also be introducing our new line of Magazine Extensions for Glock 19/23 & 17/22 pistols, which will quickly be followed by Sig P320 Mag Extensions. We also have plans to offer a minimalist stock for SBRs and small rifles! Backup Tactical has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 2 years and we have decided to expand to other areas in the industry to serve shooters as much as possible with products that are not only top quality but are reasonably priced.”

The Backup Tactical Glock 9mm PROComps cuts recoil by an impressive 60%. What Bayne loves about the Glock comps, “is how they turn the lightweight muzzle-flipping Glock pistols into an incredibly flat-shooting gun rivaling guns twice their weight.” Bayne also loves “that the style of their Glock Comps rivals their performance. Our Glock PROComp is designed from the ground up specifically for the Glock pistols. You will notice that our Sig and Glock comps look absolutely nothing alike. The idea is simple, two very different guns require very different compensators; hence the name Perfect Fit. You can’t just expect to slap the same comp on the end of every pistol and expect the same results. When we started with the Glock comp, we found we were getting about a 40% reduction in recoil. By continuously tweaking and changing the comp to fit the Glock we finally achieved a 60% reduction in recoil. The port on the final Glock comp looks quite different from where we started. I also think our comp is the best looking comp I have ever seen on a Glock pistol! Especially when mated with our Threaded Barrel, the comp looks like it is part of the gun.

The new Backup Tactical Glock Perfect Fit PROComps will be compatible with Gen5 and Gen 4 9mm Glocks including the two most popular options – the Glock 17 and Glock 19. Jason from Backup Tactical is claiming that in their testing they are getting about 60% recoil reduction with the compensator. Each Glock Perfect Fit PROComp from Backup Tactical will be sold for $149.99 and can attach to any standard-length quality aftermarket Glock barrel that is threaded 1/2×28.
