One of the product lines of Italian firearm accessories manufacturer ROME (Rottigni Officina MEccanica) is a family of suppressors called Signum. The one we see in today’s Photo Of The Day is a big-bore can with an interesting fluted front design.

The big-bore ROME Signum suppressors are available in two bore sizes, 375/408 and 460/50, with the larger one rated for up to .50 BMG. As you might have guessed, these are massive cans – the .50 cal version weighs about 8.12 lbs (3.686 kg), has an overall length of 22.64″ (575mm) and a 3.5″ (89mm) diameter. The sound suppression rating for the 375/408 suppressor is 36-39 dB and 40-44 dB for the 460/50 caliber version. These are direct thread suppressors with metric M24x1 mounting threads.

The MSRPs of big-bore ROME Signum suppressors in Europe are €1727 and €1925.9 (excluding VAT) for the 375/408 and 460/50 caliber options respectively. The company does not ship these suppressors outside of the European Union.
