The goal of TFB’s Photo Of The Day is to give your eyes something worth watching, and your brain something to think about every day. The carbine is a vz. 58, the standard service assault rifle of the Slovak Armed Forces, being replaced by the CZ Bren. Below, an SVD.

Combined Resolve 18 is a U.S. Army exercise, consisting of over 4,000 service members, allies, and partners from 15 countries, and is designed to assess units’ abilities to conduct combat operations effectively in a multi-domain battlespace.
