New for 2023, Kimber has introduced a double stack optics ready 9mm 1911. The new KD9SC is high capacity alloy framed 1911, with an optics plate system that accepts multiple patterns of red dots including the Holosun K optics.

    A Wilson EDC X9 at less then 1/2 the price. Super cool.

    Hopefully Kimber gets this one right.

    Shame mags are proprietary vs sharing mags with an existing pistol. Thats a bad move, especially with so many states now having a AWB ban where only grandfathered mags can be used.

      @Jeff Hewitt Wilson would be the way to go if you have the coin.

      But at $1300 vs $3000 street price, the Kimber is compelling, and there's a fair bit of budget left over for gunsmithing the Kimber.

      For perspective, the Wilson is the cost of the Kimber + a Steyr AUG.
