As we reported during our SHOT Show 2023 coverage, Advanced Armament Co. is bringing back the Mk13-SD suppressor for 7.62x51mm and .300 Win Mag chambered rifles. True to their word Advanced Armament Co. told us at SHOT that the MK13-SD would be available in early February.

The new suppressors weigh in at 15 oz, are 9.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. They are made from Grades 5 and 9 Titanium. They both have a Cerakote outer finish and their attachment method is a 90T Taper Mount. Advanced Armament Co. claim the Mk13-SD reduces the report of the rifle by 28 to 33 decibels. This is listed as being tested with a 20-inch Remington 700 chambered in 300 Win Mag, firing Remington 180 Grain Core-Lokt + PSP. The suppressor has a quoted sound pressure level of 133 decibels.

The Mk13-SD is now being offered in Flat Dark Earth with the NSN marked on the suppressor body for clone builders and is also available in a black high temp Cerakote, without the NSN marking. They are completely all titanium built and have an MSRP of $1,149.99. The suppressors are available now and are currently shipping to dealers.

Here’s how Advanced Armament Co. describe the MK13-SD:

The military-chosen Mk13-SD is an ultra-lightweight, fast-attach, high performance sound and flash suppressor engineered for bolt action rifles chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum and 7.62 x 51 mm.

It features a “Grade 5 Titanium monolithic baffle core and Grade 9 Titanium tube give the Mk13-SD an improbable weight of 15 ounces, and the durability to withstand the 300 Win Mag muzzle pressures and temperatures. Small size and light weight, it delivers greater sound reduction and accuracy than any similarly-sized competing model. NSN: 1005-01-599-7024.”
