Rosco Manufacturing K9 11.5″ Kinetic Consulting 5.56 NATO Barrel

    Rosco Manufacturing

Rosco Manufacturing has released an 11.5” K9 barrel in Crucible 416R with a nitrided finish. Their proprietary patrol length gas system is claimed to offer a smoother recoil than a carbine length system. They recommend a 10″ minimum length for the handguard. The muzzle thread pitch, if you want to add a suppressor or other muzzle devices is 1/2 x 28.

Here is the new product release:

October, 2022: Rosco Manufacturing, an American manufacturer of high-quality pistol barrels, rifle barrels, & firearm accessories is proud to announce the launch of their 11.5” K9 barrel. This barrel is sponsored and extensively tested by Jon Dufresne of Kinetic Consulting, a very well-respected industry professional.

The K9 11.5” 5.56 NATO barrel offers a proprietary patrol length gas system that is smoother than carbine length and more reliable than mid-length. Features an optimized gas port to run reliably suppressed and/or unsuppressed. The K9 continuous taper is the most effective profile to dissipate heat from hard use. With weight shifted to the back of the barrel, modern attachments on the front of the rifle create a perfectly balanced and better handling rifle. Updated target crown carried over from the Purebred series with improved harmonics, fit and finish.

Made in the USA, the Rosco way!
