A true defensive “fighting” carbine needs to be compact, lightweight, accurate, and reliable to fill its role in the armory. I’ll admit to being very critical of the original OSS models: to achieve their forward gas-venting design, these suppressors were long, heavy, two-piece systems that were vulnerable to some issues. But that was years ago. The HUXWRX team seems to have found the silencer sweet spot for direct impingement gas guns like the AR-15.
