Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 47! Podcasts are a great way to expose yourself to new ideas in reference to a subject you’re already interested in. I’ve learned a lot while listening to gun podcasts and I have a very close friend of mine who is a dedicated gun podcast listener as well who draws a lot of knowledge from them just as I do. I think it’s worth mentioning that while I do gain a lot of knowledge from these podcasts, I don’t always agree with everything that is said, and having them posted here isn’t always an endorsement of the information but rather an olive branch to fellow gun nerds out there who may enjoy the content more than I would. We’re fortunate enough in this modern age to have access to not only a wide variety of firearms, but also a wide variety of opinions from pundits whose skills, experiences, and knowledge far surpass our own – for free. Just food for thought as we go into this week’s set of episodes for TFB Podcast Roundup 47.

The M1 Garand may be the most iconic rifle in American history. It was instrumental in enhancing the lethality of our war fighters at the time and its impact on the outcome of WWII can’t be overstated. Mark Boardman and Jimmy Hamilton grab Alexander Lewis and Ryan Muckenhirn to talk about the form, function, history and unique attributes of this wood and steel masterpiece.
Today on the show we have special guests Russell Phagan of KE Arms and Karl Kasarda from InRangeTV. Both of these gentlemen are largely responsible for the organization, and implementation of InRangeTV’s series of Brutality matches like Desert Brutality, Woodland Brutality, Finnish Brutality, and the new Lynx and Cornfield Brutality matches. Each Brutality match is unique and offers the shooter several challenging and phyiscally demanding courses of fire but are at their core some of the most fun you can have with firearms while practicing good fundamentals.
Today Russell and Karl join me on the TFB B-Side podcast to go in-deph on the subject of this year’s Woodland Brutlaity 2022 and talk a bit more in detail about the challenges, purpose and design of Brutality Matches. If you find today’s podcast interesting and want to learn more or even sign up to participate in an InRangeTV Brutality match, you can visit http://brutalitymatches.org/ to learn more about how to sign up and what you’ll need to participate.
