Bullpup rifles are popular for a lot of reasons but getting your hands on one can be a financial nightmare as some of the most popular models of bullpup rifles and pistol caliber carbines can be pretty expensive. The META Tactical APEX-Series Carbine Conversion kit was showcased earlier this year at SHOT Show 2022 and claims to be the world’s first bullpup-style pistol-to-rifle conversion kit. The APEX-Series claims to be able to convert your Glock, Polymer80, or Smith & Wesson handgun from its normal pistol configuration, into a 16″ carbine on the fly.

The APEX-Series Bullpup Carbine Conversion Kit from META Tactical

The META TACTICAL APEX-Series Carbine Conversion Kit is the world’s first pistol-to-rifle bullpup style conversion kit allowing you to shoot your pistol further and more accurately than ever before with the most responsive and compact platform ever created. Designed, developed and tested to be the most versatile and innovative conversion kit on the market while complying with all laws and regulations. While the APEX-Series has still yet to be released, we have some pretty good details on the types of pistols that will be compatible with the conversion kit at launch as well as some good info on the specifications of the rig. The APEX-Series will be first compatible with Glock models 17, 19, 21, 26, and 34, all 9mm models of the Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 series, and Models PF940v2 and PF940C from the P80 lineup. This is already a wide array of compatibility for a product that hasn’t even been launched yet.
