During the SHOT Show 2022, Schmidt & Bender introduced a new first focal plane riflescope, the 6-36×56 PM II. As the model name implies, it is a variable power scope with a 6x zoom ratio and 56mm objective lens diameter. The metal magnification adjustment ring is a new feature that some other S&B scope models of this product family will be retrofitted with too. Overall, like other Schmidt & Bender products, the new scope felt to be a solid and high-quality piece of equipment. We are looking forward to reviewing this scope. Stay tuned!
Here is how the new Schmidt & Bender 6-36×56 PM II scope is described on the company’s website:Partial tech specs are quoted below from the product page of Schmidt & Bender website:The new S&B 6-36×56 PM II offers the best solution for medium to extreme long-range shooting. Like all of our PM II riflescopes, we designed and manufactured this 6x zoom riflescope according to MIL-STD- 810G for handling the harshest environments. Outstanding image quality with a wide field-of-view (FOV) provides superior detail recognition. Reduced weight and size makes it very compact while the new LPI illumination also enables left handed use. The efficient 6-36x magnification range is combined with a 39.5 MRAD elevation turret which supports more precise shot placements.
