I have one of their old turboheads mated to a 2x18650 body and a soft-start switch, and it's hands-down my favorite fun light. Still have never seen an LED which can match it for color rendition in a natural environment, and it looks damn cool to boot.
Looks like these will be worthy successors for serious business. Not sure if I would want a turbo for my anticipated home defense use, but I can definitely see how they would be great when you need to reach out and touch someone. Never would have thought about having to shine through tinted windows.
