CAA has been showing off their new 9mm PCC, the AGADA, as well as their new Gen3 Micro Conversion Kit (MCK).

CAA Releases AGADA PCC and Gen3 Micro Conversion Kit

Rifles have remained largely the same basic configuration since the age of the matchlock. Essentially, all rifles have been in a “broomstick” straight-line configuration. CAA’s newest release aims to try and change that. By adapting the rifle to the human body, instead of the human body to the rifle.

The AGADA (Hebrew for “Legend”) moves the pistol grip and foregrip to opposite sides of the gun, instead of underneath, and angles both up dramatically. When holding the rifle your body falls into a very natural “boxing” stance. Your dominant hand ends up close to your cheek, and your weak-side hand is held out in front of you. Anyone with martial arts training will recognize this as a very basic fighting stance. The trigger sits comfortably under your strong-side index finger and can be “pulled” by pressing straight down.

Additionally, the AGADA will feature a widened, oversized magwell to allow for ease of reloading, a fully adjustable cheek-riser on a folding stock, grip and cross-bar safeties, and a last-round bolt hold open. The CAA AGADA will take Glock magazines or CAA’s proprietary mags interchangeably.

The New Micro Conversion Kit

Not content just with the AGADA PCC, CAA is also releasing the third generation of their MCK. This new Gen3 takes feedback that CAA has been receiving from its customers and incorporates it into the redesigned chassis. The new Gen3 MCK will be compatible with slide-mounted pistol optics, or users can attach frame-mounted picatinny rails to use whatever optic they choose. The brace is adjustable up or down, to allow the user to align themselves with either option.

Further, the brace is folding, and the user can change which side the brace folds to by swapping out a single pin. The frame has two cut-outs in it to allow for the use of a pistol back-plate mounted charging handle, which again can be swapped to either left or right side use.

The kit also comes with a new “car-wash” system at the front. Stiff nylon bristles will clean off carbon build-up from the slide every time the action cycles, without scratching the finish.

In terms of compatibility, the new Gen3 MCK will be compatible with Gen 3 through 5 Glock 17/19/19x/20/21/22/23/25/31/32/45.
