Back in November of 2020, ODIN Works introduced their first complete AR-15 pattern rifle called Odin Tactical Rifle or OTR-15. Recently the company announced the release of the second rifle in the Odin Tactical Rifle line, the OTR-15 6.5 Grendel. As its name implies, the main difference from the first 5.56/223 OTR-15 is that the new rifle is chambered in 6.5 Grendel. Let’s see what features this new ODIN Works rifle packs.

ODIN Works OTR-15 6.5 Grendel rifle utilizes in-house machined billet 7075 aluminum receivers. The lower receiver is assembled with ODIN Works XMR3 extended magazine release, ambidextrous safety and bolt release levers. The rifle comes with a mil-spec buffer tube, ODIN Works backplate with ambi sling loops, B5 Systems Bravo stock and B5 Systems Type-23 P-Grip pistol grip. The 18″ stainless steel match grade 6.5 Grendel barrel has a 1:8″ twist rate, an intermediate-length gas system, and is equipped with a tunable gas block. The barrel is threaded but has no muzzle device installed (comes with a thread protector). The rifle also features an ODIN Works 15.5″ O2 Lite M-LOK handguard, nitrided BCG, 3oz buffer with a stainless steel buffer spring and ODIN Works XCH extended charging handle.

ODIN Works OTR-15 6.5 Grendel rifle is listed on the company’s website at an MSRP of $1,799. The rifle comes with a 10-round 6.5 Grendel magazine.
