The Shield Plus makes the 43x obsolete. You have to spend money on upgrades to make 43x as good a shooter as the new Shield. The marginal value of two extra rounds is near zero in a carry gun. If you need more than 10 rounds than you have the wrong tool for armed self defense. You are in long gun territory.

Before anybody jumps on me as Glock hater I shoot my unmodified G42 better than some full sized pistols.

@tdiinva Point well taken. I have owned several businesses, but never remember civil arrest coverage - or even asking for it to be priced. Still the matter of the destruction of property, is not justification for murder. Fear of one's life is clear justification. Yet from what I remember in the Rittenhouse's case, he was running from one used car lot, to many other locations, the fool only was forgetting his superhero vest. He placed himself into harms way, and did so inside the borders of a state he was not a resident of, and no right to have a firearm in as a minor.

As for the businesses burned down or gone for good, this is a a lesson about many realities of being a mammal first. I don't know if there is just one lesson. The systems engineer in me say that this was a political system failure, specifically that decision makers failed to act at the state and national levels. At the individual level, I suspect this boy was absent a father and trying to play hero. From a broken family, a mother who failed to raise a man. Most men know, alone you don't confront a city wide mob.

As for those men Rittenhouse shot, wounded and killed. I am aware of their checkered past backgrounds. There is something to be said about the phrase, "... maybe they had it coming."
