If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only has a Fudd appeal?  Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the HK94 was a very hot gat.

Using an Inforce WML light was an interesting choice on this setup.  I’m not the foremost expert on Inforce lights, but it would appear this model is still in production.  It’s certainly far from “rare”.

Rather than going the traditional fifty shades of FDE, the creator decided to go with fifty shades of OD green on this setup.  Well, minus the grip and safety for whatever reason.

At the end of the day, it is just a Cerakote job.  While I’m not particularly fond of it, at least the rest of the gun appears to be relatively untouched.  The barrel hasn’t been chopped down, and it’s a gun that could be returned to an almost original configuration.

The biggest question is what will this gun sell for in this current market.  The SCAR 17 series rifles are certainly far from cheap, but I would think this Cerakote job would discount the price a little.  However, I could be wrong.  So as always, I leave it up to you, the reader, to decide.
