Pulsar Thermion XG50 (3-24×42) – BAE Thermal Sensor with 2,400 yards Detection Range

    Pulsar Thermion XG

Pulsar just announced a new thermal riflescope which is the first-ever to use the high-end 640×480, 12 micron sensor made by BAE (BAE Systems).

The Pulsar Thermion XG50 (3-24×42) uses a 1024×768 HD AMOLED full-color display screen to transfer what the BAE sensor sees to your eyes.

The detection range is 2,400 yards and the device has a 8x digital zoom. With a 3x base magnification the Field Of View is 46 feet at 100 yards.

The Thermion XG50 can store 5 rifle profiles and offers 13 variable electronic reticles and one-shot zeroing freeze function. Some of these features were recently tested (up to 300 meters) in our review of the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XP50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope, and they worked great.

As usual there is Pulsar’s built-in video recording, color palette options and a rechargeable battery pack system.

    Pulsar’s new product announcement reads:
