[SHOT 2020] The Wraithworks WARSCORP9

Wraithworks unveiled a first-ever for the US market. A Scorpion EVO 9mm Magazine compatible AR-9 pattern pistol. The new WARSCORP9 as Wraithworks calls it is the first in the USA made to feed from the already available Scorpion Evo magazines. In addition, Wraithwroks has teamed up with X Products to ship their 50 round capacity X-CZ-9 alongside the WARSCORP9.

I was able to take a Wraithworks WARSCORP9 out for a test spin during SHOT 2020 Industry Day at the Range and it also came kitted out with a Franklin Armory Binary Trigger. The WARSCORP9 is easy enough to shoot single fire but in binary mode, it’s completely manageable once you learn how the trigger works. With a 50 round drum mag, you’ll be set up for a good time at the range.

It is nice to see that in a saturated market of similar AR-9’s that Wraithworks has decided to break the mold and stand out a bit by offering an option with different magazines. I will be interested to see how much of the market latches on to the idea of having an AR-9 with Scorpion EVO mags.
[SHOT 2020]
The Wraithworks WARSCORP9 will start shipping in Quarter 2 of 2020. Wraithworks has not yet nailed down an exact MSRP but they are hoping it will remain right below the $1,000 mark.

If the lower is compatible with a CMMG radial delay upper, I'm gonna be all over this like white on rice.

If I'm stuck with direct blowback then I'll have to pass
