Custom Leather is a Canadian manufacturer of leather hunting and law enforcement accessories. Custom Leather is licensed to manufacture leather hunting accessories for Ruger and this year at SHOT 2020 they’ve released two Ruger Leather Magazine Pouches. One pouch is specifically designed to hold 3 BX-1 10-round rotary magazines while the other is a fully enclosed leather pouch for a BX-25 magazine.

Custom Leather is licensed to produce leather products such as slings, belts and magazine pouches for Ruger. As such, these two new products will be sold not only on the Custom Leather website but also on the Shop Ruger store where many other Ruger firearm accessories are sold.

I think that the custom leather will please a lot of rimfire plinkers who like to keep their gear looking classic. Custom Leather is the largest, and one of the oldest leather accessory and belt manufacturers in Canada.  The company began producing consumer leather products in 1949 and has been in continuous operation since that time.  They currently operate out of a 70,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. All off their leather products are produced in house using Canadian Leather.

Ruger Leather 10/22 3-Magazine Pouch

The leather pouch for the 10-round rotary magazines comes in three colors, Tan, Black or Dark Brown. It is a heavyweight leather pouch that will hold 3 OEM 10/22 Magazines and will fit most leather belts. Each of Custom Leathers Pouches for Ruger comes embossed with the Ruger “Eagle” emblem. The 3-Magazine Pouch retails for $24.00 USD.

Ruger Leather BX-25 Magazine Pouch

The heavyweight leather pouch holds 1 BX-25 Magazine and fits most belts and is embossed with Ruger “Eagle.” The leather BX-25 Magazine pouch also comes in Black, Tan or Dark brown colors. The single BX-25 Magazine pouch retails for $20.00 USD.
