Get some LIGHTNING on your EDC! LaserMax’s NEW GripSense Activated Laser

If there is one sure thing you could say about the firearms community it is that we love our guns and we equally love to customize them with accessories. One new accessory is a laser to hit the market from LaserMax, the Lightning, that can fit most any handgun. The Lightning is a universal fit rail mounted laser with LaserMax’s GripSense™ Activation Technology. The new laser fits any firearm with at least 1” of accessory rail space and is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday concealed carry and hard duty use. Kurt Worden, the Director of Sales for LaserMax Products, had these words to share regarding the new laser:

Having the most advanced laser technology inside the firearm with our guide rod lasers, we now have the most advanced technology for outside the gun with GripSense. Making this available now for pistols with rails opens up an entire new opportunity for consumers who don’t want to worry about pressing a button for activation.

This laser is currently shipping to firearm retailers. It boasts a 20 hour continuous battery life and will also automatically shut-off after 10 minutes. It is water-resistant for sweaty days or times when you are stuck out in the rain, and it carries a LaserMax 5 Year Warranty. The rest of specifications can be read below as presented by LaserMax:

    • Rail Mounted allowing it to Work w/ over 90% of Pistols on the Market Today

For those who might be entertaining this new laser, you have your two predictable yet favorite options of a green or red laser. Because of the wavelength the color green is typically easier to see for most people, but it is purely a preference of the shooter. The associated price-points for either can be read below:

For all of our concealed carry advocates in the reading audience, what do you think? Is this new Lightning laser from LaserMax something you would be willing to entertain on one of your carry guns? Is there a different laser you have in mind?
