POTD: Heckler & Koch G28 Fully Loaded (HK241)

Today’s Photo Of The Day shows a Heckler & Koch G28 DMR, fully loaded with accessories like the Schmidt & Bender PMII 3-20×56, Aimpoint Micro T2 red dot as well with a Hensoldt NSV night sight attachment.

To make the installation complete, there is an H&K Sound Suppressor (probably made by Swiss B&T) to quiet any disturbing noise in the darkness.

According to Heckler & Koch’s terminology, this is the HK241. (Source and Source)

The color of the “FDE” in these photos makes me think more of Golden Kalashnikovs than stealth.

Notice that the Schmidt & Bender optic has the HK logotype. The HK241 is the G28.

Just below the mount, you can notice the inscription “Schysszahl Dokumentieren“, i.e. that the shooter should document the number of rounds shot. Also, notice the pressure switch on the vertical front grip for the weapon light.

You can find more information about the products here: Schmidt & Bender, Aimpoint AB and Heckler & Koch.
