Featured Deals of the Week Header

Hello and welcome to another Featured Deals of the Week. As always please let me know in the comments if you want to see any types of deals that you haven’t been seeing.

    Ruger AR-556 16.1″ Barrel – $479

    What the deal is:

I’ve actually had the Ruger AR-556 in the deals post previously, but that time it was an MPR with a free-floating M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny rail. Here, the rifle comes with a foldable rear iron sight and an A2 front-post sight. This in addition to all the AR-556 standards, an upper receiver optics mount rail, and an adjustable buttstock.

    Why it’s a good deal:

In terms of bang for your buck (hah) at this price point, it’s hard to find a better deal. Conceivably if the MPR with it’s full-length rail and M-LOK handguard was on sale for $500 even it might be the same or better value, but good luck finding one new for that price.

    BERETTA 92FS (ITALY) – $428

    Beretta M9 – $448

    What the deal is:

Alright, so technically this is two separate deals, but they’re both from the same seller so I thought I’d include both. Obviously they are not the same gun, but they’re also basically the same gun. The M9 for $448 has white dot-and-post sights, whereas the 92FS has white 3-dot-sights. The M9 also includes “Military-Style Markings” whereas this 92FS has Italian import markings. Other than that, identical. Chambered in 9×19, Double/Single-Action, 4.9″ barrel, 15-round capacity.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Honestly, the M9 is just an okay deal. It’s listed for $100 off the sticker price and about $50 ish off street price. The 92FS though is a real winner. It’s on sale for $150 off the sticker price and $100 off street price.

    Vortex Spitfire AR-15 1x Prism ScopeĀ – $150

    What the deal is:

Somewhere around 30% of the American population suffers from some level of astigmatism. If you’ve ever looked through a red dot and the dot has been blurry? You might have astigmatism. Prism optics eliminate that blur or halo effect, making them perfect for people who might otherwise see a slight blur or halo around a reticle. The downside is this is heavier than an equivalent red-dot and is incompatible with magnifiers.

    Why it’s a good deal:

At this price? It’s a steal. Even Amazon lists them for $200, which is about or a little under the street price. For $150 you’re doing exceptionally well.

Vortex StrikeFire II Red Dot – $129.99 with code “Strikefire”

    What the deal is:

Now for you people who were turned off half-way through the last deal because you don’t have astigmatism or have it mildly enough you don’t want to spend extra on a prism optic that is harder to get perfect cheek-weld on, this deal is for you. The Vortex StrikeFire II is a red-dot sight, and perhaps would go well with that AR-556 from earlier?

    Why it’s a good deal:

You get about $50 off street price. These optics can generally be found for $179.99, which is what PSA lists the optic as. However, with the coupon code, you get another $50 off, which is about 30% off. Not bad if I do say so myself.
