Movie billboard ads in Los Angeles for "John Wick 3" depict Wick handling a pistol unsafely, as no properly trained shooter would handle a pistol. (1) Finger on trigger; (2) Muzzle pointed who-knows-where (because Wick is not looking); (3) Wick is looking somewhere other than where the muzzle is pointed. Basically, the Holllywood message is: "Ignore everything you have ever been told about handling a firearm safely, because we don't care."

Cali police claim that gangster thugs shoot handguns rotated 90° without using sights because they saw it in Steven Seagal movies and consider it cool. Consequently, they aren't able to hit a thing.

John Wick teaches the same ganxta thugs that using iron sights, cover and concealment is super-cool, because it's the "gun karate".

You know, sometimes I wish marksmanship and tactical skills remained "boring uncool" skills reserved for the thinking men with IQ at least 100.

But then again, this is worldwide trend. The ISIS had help of "Chechen Magpul Training" who didn't fight but rather trained everyone in tactical movement on battlefield and marksmanship.

The times where terrorists and gangsters were unqualified shooters "unable to hit a barn" are gone :(
