New Optics Available from Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace have announced some new additions to their optics range with red dot sights including a 3.5x battlesight and a 1x red dot optic. Aiming for the sporting, home defence and tactical markets, the MSRP for the new sights starts at around $199.

The new red dots are part of Crimson Trace’s expanding optics range, they’ve already introduced a series of longer range optics.

America’s top brand of laser sights, Crimson Trace®, today announced that several models of its recently released line of electronic sights for pistols and long guns are now widely available in retail outlets, stores and ranges across America. These innovative sights are designed to meet the needs of 3-gun competitors, home defenders, hunters and recreational firearms enthusiasts. The sights include several fields-of-view and reticle choices, and the electronic sights also utilize existing industry standards and installation features that ensure after-market compatibility with a wide variety of firearms and mounting systems.

The new Crimson Trace electronic (battlesights and red dot) sights now available include:

* CTS-1100 is a 3.5X battlesight with a custom and fully-illuminated Crimson Trace advanced hybrid BDC reticle. This sight is designed primarily for use on a long gun and features a wide field of view and up to 10X levels of brightness. The CTS-1100 is easy to install with an M1913 Picatinny mount, is waterproof, and provides long-term operation on the provided CR2032 battery.

* CTS-1300 is an open red dot sight with 3.5 MOA round dot aiming reticle. The sight provides 1X magnification and up to 7X brightness with a high efficiency LED. This compact open reflex sight is designed for use on shotguns or rifles and utilizes a low-profile M1913 Picatinny mounting platform. This electronic sight is housed in an anodized aircraft grade aluminum housing and is covered under a 3-Year Limited Warranty.

Crimson Trace electronic sights provide excellent light transmission and can be used in low-light conditions. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices begin at $199. Users will find the complete sight line offers many advantages. They are secured in a machined aluminum housing; utilize multi-coated optics to provide a vivid edge-to-edge view; are shock-resistant, dust-proof, and fog-proof; and, all sights permit the user to adjust brightness levels to meet individual preferences and changing light conditions. Each open red dot sight comes equipped with a cover to protect the sight and to keep it clean. These sights are covered under the Crimson Trace Free Batteries for Life program.

    I notice they’re not trying to shine the thin blue knob, respect. I’m now motivated to give their products a try because of this, whereas Rise has completely lost me with their appeals to authority.
