Featured Deals of the Week Header

I hope you guys enjoy a deal or two this week. Let me know in the comments if you want to see more or less of something, if there’s a deal you want hunted down, or any other comments and concerns.

    Beretta CX4 Storm 92mag 9mm – $599

    Deal on Beretta CX4 Storm

    What the deal is:

This carbine is chambered in 9mm and has a 16.6″ barrel. The magazine holds 8 rounds of ammunition, and the gun comes in a black finish with a synthetic stock. You know what it is, it’s the CX4. It’s a nice PCC that you can feed a variety of Beretta 9mm pistol magazines to.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Generally speaking, these can be found for around $700, with about $50 worth of variability in either direction. So getting it $100 off street price isn’t bad. The lowest I’m seeing it elsewhere as of writing is just under $700. That’s not to say prices won’t change between now and posting, but I think it’s worth looking into.

     Ruger AR-556 Multi-purpose rifle – $589.99

    Deal on Ruger AR-556 MPR

    What the deal is:

The MPR is a pretty interesting rifle actually. It’s priced for entry-tier, but it comes with a lot of mid-tier features. Cold-hammer forged barrel, a surprisingly nice stock 4.5 lb. two-stage trigger, a low profile gas block, and a 15″ free-float M-LOK handrail. A word of caution, some buyers have reported needing to send their MPR to Ruger customer support for a variety of small QA tweaks. After that, however, most people I’ve seen and talked to love the rifle.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Street price these seem to run around $600-650. Actually, Bud’s cash discount price is only $3 less than this deal. So if you live near a Buds and want to save that extra smidge of cash, here is their page. Otherwise, while this isn’t a smoking hot deal, it’s a surprisingly solid firearm and priced very competitively.

LaRue Tactical MBT-2S Straight Bow TRigger – $87

Deal on LaRue MBT-2S Straight Bow Trigger

    Image Provided by LaRue Tactical

    What the deal is:

It’s the update we’ve all secretly been waiting for. The sequel to the curve-bowed MBT-2S, the straight bow. CNC-milled out of S7 tool steel, and with two precisely measured stages (2.5lb stage one, 2 lb stage two), this is a really nice trigger. Or if you prefer a heavier pull, these do come with a spring that will increase the pull weight to 6lb.

    Why it’s a good deal:

LaRue priced these at $125 originally and dropped the price to $87 with no word on how long that will last. The most immediate competitor for these triggers is Geissele, and personally, I think you’re better off with the LaRue trigger (hate me if you must). Geissele’s own flat bow trigger sells for $240, a steep increase compared to the LaRue pricing.

Helius Tactical 1776 Stainless muzzle Break – $17.76

Deal on Helius Tactical Muzzle Break

    What the deal is:

Oh, come on. You can’t not buy it. A patriotic muzzle break for your rifle? Even better, a good patriotic muzzle break. It can be ordered in two different threadings, 1/2×28 and 5/8×24. It comes with a steel-crush washer to lock it onto your barrel.

    Why it’s a good deal:

From all the reviews I’ve read, these remarkably low priced muzzle-breaks fill the same niche as $100 or more ones, and come with the added benefit of sporting some patriotic spirit. For funsies put it on a 7″ pistol and singe the hair off your arm.
