I screwed up. I reported inaccurate velocities for this load. This video corrects the error and we cover the gel performance. We shoot Speer 10mm 200gr Gold Dot ammunition from an EAA Witness with a 4.5″ barrel into Clearballistics ballistic gel to measure velocity, penetration, expansion/fragmentation, and retained weight.

You asked Andrew so here ya go; what I like to watch is carefully executed ballistic gel testing conducted by competent online sources like tnoutdoors and shootingthebull410. Apparently both have been on a seriously extended hiatus if not permanent departure.

Anyone know what the hell happened to them? Any chance TFB could track them down and sign up one or both? If not, then maybe send Andrew to train with one of them for a week or so? No ballistic gel testing contributions are better than half@$$ed ballistic gel testing contributions.

I thought this was supposed to be a full power 10mm load? Seems a little light....
