[SHOT 2018] Desert Tech: The MDR Has LANDED!
In today’s episode, we follow Miles to Shot Show 2018 Media Day at the Range and visit Desert Tech.
This year Desert Tech is releasing the long-awaited 5.56 Micro Dynamic Rifle (MDR). There are also some new accessories being released including new handguards, muzzle attachments, and ergo grip panels. Desert Tech’s precision following will also be excited to hear that there will be a new 18″ 6.5 Creedmoor for the SRS covert.

What's not to like? The incredible butt-heavy balance, the crappy ergonomics of a bullpup, and the wickedly uncomfortable cheek weld of the SRS line. If I was in the market for a bullpup, I'd just have hung onto my original AUG. Mushy trigger and all, the AUG at least didn't look like it was designed by Hasbro to transform from a gun into a fire truck or something.
I like how the company rep Jeffey completely avoided the MSRP question Miles asked.. Miles looked weak as kitten piss for not pressing the question.
As for the product it's self....Mostly anticlimactic end to a long wait...I think the Lithgow will end up selling better and being the superior product.
