Kimber Announces Pair of New Precision Rifles

    Kimber Mfg. announced a pair of new precision bolt action rifles. One is the Advanced Tactical SOC II and the other is the Advanced Tactical SRC II. All versions of these guns offer a sub 0.5 MOA guarantee.

    According to the company, the Advanced Tactical SOC II is a “complete revision” of the prior version of the gun. The company states it was developed for long range precision shooters and including law enforcement and military professionals.

    The Advanced Tactical SOC II is built by hand and is available in two chamberings: .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor. Both caliber versions can be had in black or flat dark earth (FDE) with a 22″ threaded barrel. All models of theAdvanced Tactical SOC II have a base price of $2,449.

    The Advanced Tactical SOC II uses a folding chassis made of aluminum. The Kimber gun uses detachable magazines, has a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, rear monopod and a Harris bipod adapter.

    If you need a similar gun, but a little shorter in length, the Advanced Tactical SRC II might be more to your liking. This gun is similar in most respects, but is chambered only in .308 Win and comes with an FDE finish. It has a 16″ barrel. The Advanced Tactical SRC II has a suggested retail price of $2,449.
