Coast Products announced several new items that may appeal to a range of shooters and hunters. The gear includes two new flashlights and a new folding knife.

FX200 Knife

Knives and guns go together like cookies and milk. Both products are tools that can increase your self reliance, and both can be used recreationally. The new FX200 pocket knife is a good example of this.

This frame lock folder is small, so it is able to slip into a pocket and be carried with you anywhere. It has a 2″ blade made of 3CR13 steel and weighs only 1.4 ounces. The pocket clip doubles as a money clip.

A small go anywhere knife like this ensures you always have a cutting tool with you whether in the field or in the office. It also has a built in bottle opener, which allows you to open a root beer after a long day of hiking or stacking inventory. MSRP: $15

PX1R Flashlight

Anyone that carries a gun should carry a flashlight. After all, if you cannot identify a threat, you should not pull the trigger. Having a small, bright light is important.

The PX1R is a small – 4.9″ long and less than 5 ounces – flashlight that still throws a lot of light: 460 lumens. An extension of the PX1 line, this model adds a rechargeable li-ion pack for up to 3.5 hours of runtime on high. It can also run on 3 AAA batteries as a backup. It has a pocketclip and tail switch. Polysteel 600R Flashlight

For a larger light to keep in the truck or by the bed, the Polysteel 600R adds a rechargeable component to the existing 600 line. It can throw 530 lumens for up to 5.75 hours. The light is just under 8″ long and weighs 12 ounces. In addition to the rechargeable battery, it can also run on 4 AA batteries. MSRP: $100
