ExtraCarry Concealed Carry Mag Pouch
Simple lightweight minimalist designs seem to be pretty popular these days, one of the first being the Versacarry holsters released a few years ago. Minimalist designs aren’t always a good thing, remember the Bungee Holster? Seriously it’s a thing.
I stumbled upon another simple minimalist design geared towards those who conceal carry. The folks from ExtraCarry recently released their new line of concealed carry magazine pouches. Their new mag pouches are lightweight and ambidextrous and features a pocket clip, slide it into your pocket and it looks just like a pocket knife clipped onto your pants. ExtraCarry aren’t the first to come up with a pocket mag carrier design, last year NeoMag debuted their magnetic pocket clip mag holders. They don’t work with all magazines however, and it allowed rounds to be exposed in your pocket. The ExtraCarry mag holder doesn’t leave rounds exposed protecting them from dirt and debris.
ExtraCarry’s new concealed carry mag pouches are made in the USA and retail starting at $50. They’re currently available for the 1911 (7 and 8 round), Colt Government 380, Colt Mustang 380, Glock 17/22, Glock 19/23, Glock 26/27/33, Glock 36, Glock 42 and 43, Keltec 3AT, Remington Rm390, Ruger LCP, S&W M&P Shield 40 and 9mm, S&W M&P Bodyguard 380, Sig Sauer P238, Springfield XD(m) 45 and 9mm and the Springfield XD-S 45 and 9mm. Snag mag came up with this idea a couple years ago, plus they are almost $20 cheaper. I use one with my G26 and luv it. Sorry Extra Carry your a lil late to the party, luv the idea but not much different from the SnagMag I'm already using.
Just pointing out that you could print one off very easily and toss on any spare pocket clips you have from knives you don't carry anymore. I might see if I can't rattle off a design and print one for my XDS (9).
