Color Training Kit

LaserLyte is expanding the company’s line of laser training targets and kits with the recently introduced Color Guard Kit. The Color Guard Kit includes the training pistol with built-in laser and a single electronic target.

Unlike other electronic targets in the company’s line of training tools, the Color Guard target randomly displays four different colors. Shooting the target after two of the colors increase the shooter’s score while shooting after the other two decrease the score. Essentially, this is a stimulus-response trainer.

It does not appear that the colors can be reprogrammed by the user. So, the same colors will always be “shoot” or “no shoot.”

The suggested retail price on the kit is $241.95.

Can anyone give me their opinion of how useful these are as training aids please? Particularly when compared to airsoft training or blank firing training.
