GY6 got his hands on a DP-12 and does a full review in this video.

At the beginning of the video, he compares the DP-12 to the KSG.

GY6 runs across a couple of malfunctions and discovers a glaring issue where the DP-12 will not feed if pumped vertically. Hopefully the issue can be addressed by the manufacturer.

I'll stick with my Remington eleven hundo tactical. They've been working just fine since 1963.

I got a chance to fire one of these and didn't run into any problems with it cycling. Yes, I even tried cycling it vertically so I could look all cool and action-movie like and the gun had no issues whatsoever. Out of fifty rounds, half slugs, half buckshot, I had zero malfunctions.

In my opinion, it's a solid, dependable home defense or tactical shotgun. Its main drawback is its weight. At about ten pounds fully loaded, it's a beast. The bright side to that is felt recoil is much reduced. It is nicely balanced and has a short overall length, so my opinion of this gun is it's a good alternative to the KSG or UTS-15 if those models don't catch your fancy.

And to paraphrase the movie "Snatch", heavy is good. If you run out of shells, you can always hit the other guy with it. ;-D
