Ruger announced the introduction of a new GP100 Match Champion revolver with adjustable sights. This compliments the fixed sight Match Champion the company introduced about a year ago.
The revolver is designed with competition shooting in mind, though I suspect it would make an excellent self-defense gun as well. It is chambered in .357 Magnum and holds six rounds in the cylinder.
Additional specifications:
- frame: stainless steel
- barrel length: 4.2″
- weight (unloaded): 38.0 ounces
- front sight: green fiber optic
- rear sight: adjustable white outline
- stocks: Hogue stippled hardwood
- MSRP: $929
The guns are already shipping, so you should be able to find one at your local dealer if you are interested in them.
