BIG NEWS: Introducing the TFB Patent Blog
For almost as long as I have been running TFB I have wanted to have a sub-blog dedicated to showcasing all the new gun and gun-related patent applications issued by the US Trademark and Patent Office (USTPO). Finally my dream is a reality. Let me introduce the TFB Patent Blog (Click “Gun Patents” in the black menu bar near the top of the page).
We will be featuring all the new patents issued, as well as new patent applications, as soon as they are published by the USTPO (or as soon as we notice they have been published). Each blog post includes the patent excerpt as well as other information about it. We are also embedding the patent document itself (click the red button at the bottom of the patent post to see the embedded patent) as well as offering a download link in case you want to download an offline PDF copy.
Nathaniel F is running the day to day operations of the patent blog. He is trying to match patents and patent applications with the organization that either owns the patent or who the inventors of the patent are employed by. This is not always obvious. If you know the organization behind a patent and we have not labeled it correctly, please let Nathaniel know (Email: nathaniel.f@staff.thefirearmblog.com). If you have other comment about a specific patent, leave a comment on the patents page. The comments work just the same as on the main TFB blog.
I hope this will be a useful feature for hardcore enthusiasts, industry engineers and small gun business owners. Let Nathaniel and I know what you think of our Patent Blog in the comments below.
I founded TFB in 2007 and over 10 years worked tirelessly, with the help of my team, to build it up into the largest gun blog online. I retired as Editor in Chief in 2017. During my decade at TFB I was fortunate to work with the most amazing talented writers and genuinely good people!

Very sweet...thumbs up.
Which patent catagories will you be looking through? I know when I had been tracking stuff in the past, there were several catagories with gun or firearm related patents.
