POTD: Burn't Bronze SBR AR-15

Bryan sent us photos of the first AR-15 he built from scratch. He writes ….

My burnt bronze AR-15. I’ve had it for a while now but it’s the first and only one I’ve built. The pics with the black stock and grip are how it currently I’d but the FDE stuff used to be on it. I don’t have a great picture of it in the case with the black to I included an older one with the FDE accessories.

    Sorry if this sounds silly but a two part question here, would this be considered an SBR? Second question when you carry this in your car and what not in two pieces is it still considered a firearm or because it is broken down no problems with the law. I live in NYS :(

      @Steven Brauman 1 Yes it's a short barreled rifle and requires an NFA tax stamp (which I have) . And 2 I'm not really firmilier with NY firearms laws so I can't tell you for sure.
